🚨 Housekeeping Rules for the March! 🚨

We’re so excited to see you at our March to Save Windermere this morning. Here are some important housekeeping rules to ensure everything runs smoothly:

  1. Stay on the Pavement: Please ensure you remain on the pavement and keep the roads clear at all times.

  2. Stay in Your Block: The march will be divided into 4 blocks. Once the march gets underway, please stay in your blocks to ensure a continuous and organised flow.

  3. Follow the Stewards: Our stewards are here to guide and assist you. Please follow their instructions for a safe and orderly march.

  4. Litter-Free March: Help us keep the area clean! Dispose of any litter in the bins or with our volunteers carrying rubbish bags.

  5. Respect Everyone: Let’s make this a positive event for everyone. Be respectful and courteous to fellow participants, volunteers, local businesses and the public.

  6. Safety First: If you have any concerns or see any issues, report them immediately to our volunteer stewards. They will be wearing high-vis jackets.

  7. First Aid: We have first aiders on hand for any medical needs. Don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it.

  8. End of March: At 12pm, once the march is over, please help us disperse from Glebe Road promptly and safely.

Let’s make this march impactful and memorable. Bring your posters, wear your campaign t-shirts, and let’s make our voices heard! Together, we can protect England’s largest lake and demand action against sewage pollution.
